Just One Night, but They Got It Right: My TownePlace Suites Miami Cruise-Eve Review
TownPlace Suites Miami Airport~ A Dream Stay for the night before your cruise!
If you’re cruising out of Miami and need a hotel that truly gets group travel, let me save you the search: TownePlace Suites Miami Airport absolutely delivered.
From the very start, Sarah was incredible to work with for our group arrangements. Organized, responsive, and genuinely helpful, she made the planning side smooth before we even stepped foot in the lobby. When you’re coordinating travel for multiple people, that kind of behind-the-scenes magic matters more than you know.
Check-in was handled by Tanya, who deserves her own standing ovation. Warm, welcoming, and on top of everything, she made sure we had what we needed and then some. And when our cruise embarkation was significantly delayed, the hotel stepped up in a big way with luggage storage, saving us from hauling suitcases around Miami like we were on a very sweaty scavenger hunt.
Transportation was another huge win. The hotel offers a free, easy shuttle from Miami International Airport, and our driver Lazero made the ride smooth and stress-free. There’s also an optional shuttle to the cruise port for $15 per person, which is a great, simple solution if you want to skip the Uber scramble on embarkation day.
The rooms were exactly what you hope for before a cruise: clean, quiet, spacious, and comfortable. Plenty of room to repack, unwind, and get a good night’s sleep before sail-away day. The lobby was another pleasant surprise, with a welcoming vibe and a bar area that made it easy to gather, relax, and toast the start of vacation.
And speaking of the bar… shoutout to Ayre, who made the experience even better. Friendly, fun, and fantastic at what they do, Ayre turned a quick drink into one of those moments that sticks with you.
Additionally, they offered a full hot breakfast that included Gluten-Free options!
Another perk we loved was the free area shuttle that took us to nearby spots like Target and Outback Steakhouse. Perfect for last-minute cruise essentials, snacks, or just an easy dinner without needing to arrange rides.
Between the thoughtful staff, group-friendly service, convenient shuttles, and comfortable accommodations, TownePlace Suites Miami Airport turned what could have been a stressful pre-cruise night into a smooth, enjoyable start to the trip.
If you’re traveling with a group, cruising out of Miami, or just want a hotel that actually makes logistics easier, this one is a solid win in my book.
