Beach Please. Tybee Island Is a Whole Vibe!


 Tybee Island brings a totally different kind of coastal energy, and honestly, that’s part of its charm. This is the beach town that feels a bit quirky, a little retro, and its completely unapologetic about it. Think along the lines of colorful cottages, salty air and flip-flops as formalwear. Don’t forget the beachfront views that make you instantly slow your pace. We wandered past the sweet little shops along the strip, including one we think was Christie’s. It was the kind of place where you pop in for a quick look and leave 2 hours later loaded down with  souvenirs, stories from the shop owner, and bags you didn’t plan on carrying around.

We mustn't forget  the Tybee Island Lighthouse! Standing out there proud like it knows it’s the main character. Tall, bold, and impossible to ignore, this striped beauty is basically the island’s way of saying, “Welcome to vacation mode.” Whether you climb all the way up for those brag-worthy ocean views or just admire it from the ground with a coffee in hand and sand in your flip-flops, the lighthouse brings serious coastal charisma. It’s part history, part photo-op, and 100 percent a vibe. If you don’t snap a pic here, did you even go to Tybee? Tybee is known for its laid-back beaches, iconic lighthouse, and that old-school seaside vibe that feels refreshingly unpolished. No mega-resorts, no overproduced boardwalk energy.
