My favorite place to stay in San Luis Obispo is the Apple Farm Inn. It is a charming blend of country-style elegance and modern comfort. The rooms are spacious, clean and quit. They are uniquely decorated with antique furnishings, fireplaces and some even have hot tubs in them!!  They offer coffee and tea in the lobby. Additionally they offer wine sampling and cookies in the evening! The staff was amazingly friendly and welcoming. This boutique inn is perfect for travelers looking for a cozy retreat in a perfect location.

Dubbed the Happiest City in America by Oprah and National Geographic, SLO offers small-town hospitality and cultural sophistication. Visitors can stroll through its historic downtown, boutique shops, fresh restaurants, and coffeehouses. 

"The Mission", Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa, was founded in 1772 by Father Junípero Serra. It serves as the heart of the city, offering a glimpse into California’s Spanish colonial past. Fully operational, it offers Catholic mass several times throughout the week.

Do you love nature? Then you will appreciate the scenic hiking trails, such as Bishop Peak and Cerro San Luis, (AKA, San Luis Mountain or  Madonna Mountain) offering amazing views of the valley below. 

Just 15 minutes down highway 101, the Pacific Ocean sprawls beautifly. Be sure you visit the Pismo Beach Pier or Avila Beach. Additionally Morro Bay, Cayucos  and the rugged coastline of Montaña de Oro State Park are an easy drive providing endless coastal opportunities.

Whether you're exploring SLO's wineries, enjoying the town’s vibrant arts scene, or simply unwinding in the  countryside setting, the Apple Farm Inn offers the perfect home base for a Central Coast getaway.
