The Beautiful Pinehurst NC

Nestled Among the beautiful pines is the quaint little village of Pinehurst North Carolina. With its abundance of golf courses, eateries and shopping, there is something to interest everyone.

One of the top attractions in the area is the Pinehurst resort.

The Pinehurst resort is known for the many courses that offer players a multitude of options to hit the links. They have recently added Pinehurst number 10, which is in its infancy and currently only open to resort guests that can walk the course.

Additionally this year (2024) they have added The World golf Hall of Fame back to their repertoire.

Upon touring the grounds and the pro shop there was an abundance of work going on in preparation of the 124th US OPEN tournament slotted to play on the very grounds we were on! What an amazing thing to witness.  They were setting up grandstands, and player tents and there was plenty of merchandise tents to shop in~

When not at the resort be sure to stop in to one of the plentiful restaurant choices around town. One of my favorites to pop in to was the BHAWK American Whiskey Ko. if the whiskey doesn't get you the story will  (CLICK HERE FOR THEIR STORY)  Great place ran by a husband & wife team.

In addition to the golf resort, you must take time to visit the famed Carolina Hotel & the Pinehurst Spa.  The hotel boasts an amazing decor with plenty of history to take in. There are several shops with whatever you need. Stop in for apparel, souvenirs or that special trinket to remember your time. No worries if you get hungry while shopping,  you can pop in to the restaurant and grab lunch, or visit the Market shop for a light bite so you don't ruin your dinner!

If time permits, I highly recommend you make an appointment for the Pinehurst Spa! Amazingly luxurious and relaxing; with a swimming pool, large whirlpool, hot tub, sauna and a vast array of spa services, you can make a day out of it.

I was lucky enough to have a dip in the pool followed by a relaxing soak in the whirlpool and finished my afternoon off with a world class full body massage. To make it an even better experience, the staff was 1st class and all about customer service! After my relishing in my spa shenanigans, I was able to shower and get fully ready to meet our crew for dinner.

We were in Pinehurst for a long weekend. We were able to get in a couple rounds of golf, a trip to the spa, Shopping in the down town "Village of Pinehurst",  some great eats and even a car show! Highly recommend popping in to this gem of a town whenever you get the time. You will not be disappointed
